US presidential candidate wants to beat Trump by embracing Bitcoin

US presidential candidate, Eric Swalwell, took to Youtube to share his visions on how he will embrace blockchain and Bitcoin after he booted Trump out of the White house.

The American politician, Eric Swalwell, who is serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 15th congressional district since 2013, starts his video off by saying that America needs to embrace new technologies.

'Blockchain can change the world!', Swalwell says. 'If we let it.'

'We use smartphones all day every day to move money, to buy goods and services, to share our innermost thoughts, and participate in public life. So it’s pure cognitive dissonance to believe that we cannot extend this further into our democracy and our economy.'

The US presidential candidate points out that the Unites States pioneered the internet, and 'many other world-changing technologies this century.'

'Governments have to keep up with the times and times have changed.'

'We must ultimately embrace these new frontiers, so our nation will never become obsolete.'

Swalwell has gun control at the forefront of his presidential campaign, but clearly blockchain adoption plays an important role as well.

The Democrat Rep. is accepting several different cryptocurrency donations in his bid to boot Donald Trump out of the White House in the 2020 presidential election.

According to the most recent polls, Swalwell is considered to be a long-shot candidate in the race against President Donald Trump, as other Domocrat favorites like Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are in the lead.

All the luck to Swalwell and keep on embracing blockchain!
