CoinMetrics.io finds discrepancies in Ripple's official XRP releases

Recently CoinMetrics.io took to twitter to discuss some findings from an analysis they performed on the Ripple ledger. According to them, the officially announced releases of XRP from escrow don't match what is visible on the blockchain, along with a couple of other issues.

The issues that CoinMetrics found can be summed up in three major points:

While these sound like pretty important issues, Ripple CTO David Schwartz was quick to come out to defend why it appears there are discrepancies, though he claims there are none:
