Following the resurgence in the crypto market, Google trends appears to show interesting is gradually climbing for keywords such a Bitcoin, Binance and Altcoins.

While Google trends may not be the right indicator to use to determine the market sentiment, it most certainly is a handy tool to get an overview of what people are searching on the world's biggest search engine.

Looking at the recent searches on Google trends, a feature by Google that allows people to see what the world is searching, shows that Bitcoin is currently climbing in popularity.

The keyword 'Bitcoin' on Google trends looks to be spiking to a new one year high, the graph shows an incomplete search, however it expects bitcoin interest to surge to the highest it can go, which is 100. Based on a scale of 0-100, with 100 being the peak popularity for the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. A score of 0 means there was not enough data for this term. 'Bitcoin' started the year on 51, and currently sits at 67, with the expected graph set to reach 100 by next week.

Other key words such as 'Altcoins' also show an increase in interest, climbing up to 82 from 31 just over a month ago.

Most cryptocurrency related keywords are up in interest on Google Trends, which shows that there is most certainly more interest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies than in recent months. Whether the Google trends translate into the next bull run with altcoin season following, will remain to be seen.
