Recently Russell Okung, offensive tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers, took to twitter to say that he would like to be paid in Bitcoin. This of course drew the attention of much of the crypto twitter community, as these things always do.

The original tweet was short and to the point, but it sparked a flurry of response from other users. Some big names took notice:
