As BTC runs up, Altcoins show a mixed reaction. BNB, IOTA, BCH up over 10%

Today has been an impressive day in the market in general. Anyone paying attention knows how Bitcoin has been performing as some big news has come out along with the Consensus 2019 conference. As BTC has been killing it, how have prominent Altcoins been responding? Let's take a look.

Best Performers

Some coins today have responded so well that they are easily outpacing Bitcoin in terms of percentage gained. Prices are moving fast, but as of this writing Binance Coin (BNB) is leading the pack with 17.27% gains to $24.18, though it also is recovering from the dip that came in just days ago.

Other notable leaders are ABBC Coin (ABBC) with a 13.98% push to $0.33, BitTorrent rose 11.32% to $0.00072, Bitcoin Cash gained 10.76% and is now at $391.16, and IOTA came in with 10.71% gains to $0.334.

Coins Waiting to Move

Almost every coin is up, but some are not performing nearly as robustly as those already mentioned. Currently, the hardest hit coin is Maximine Coin (MXM) with a -6.43% drop to $0.035.Some other struggling notables include Dogecoin (DOGE) with a mere 2.60% rise, now at $0.0027. Basic Attention Token (BAT) came up 1.82% to $0.359. Also Stellar (XLM) was up just 2.61% with a value of $0.101.

While overall the market is looking quite strong, a few coins are lagging behind. Many others are just cancelling out the losses from a few days ago. Hopefully, if Bitcoin can remain strong and the news positive, then these Altcoins can get some real growth in the coming days. As usual, stick with Chepicap for all updates!
