Winner of Tron's Tesla giveaway apparently hasn't received it yet

A couple of months ago, Tron CEO Justin Sun announced the giveaway of a Tesla to a randomly selected winner. After much controversy, Sun announced they would be giving away two Teslas. Now, two months later one of the winners has come forward revealing they have still not received their car.

To recap, Justin Sun announced Tron would be giving away a Tesla to one randomly selected Twitter user who followed Justin Sun and retweeted the giveaway announcement. Sun posted a video of the winner, but a “glitch” showed a split-second frame of the winner before the draw commenced, leading many to think the user wasn’t so randomly chosen.

After much outcry, Sun announced they would redo the draw, giving away another Tesla.

In a Reddit post, user eth_trader_12 stated they are still waiting for their Tesla from Justin Sun, two months after they were announced the winner. As proof, the Redditor has attached a screenshot of a conversation with Sun in February.

Reddit held nothing back, saying “don’t trustin Justin.” Another user stated that if they fail to follow through with what was agreed upon in the contract, they’d have grounds to file a lawsuit. Other users took more sarcastic approaches, stating “Tesla withdrawals are currently on hold while we investigate battery hacks.”
