Bitcoin teetering on the edge of $7,000 as the market sees minor losses

As Chepicap reported earlier, Bitcoin had accelerated past $7,000, trading at $7,159 after surging over 8%. Bitcoin has since dipped below $7,000 one again as many top altcoins see minor losses.

Bitcoin is teetering on the edge of $7,000 as the king of crypto is currently worth $6,980.77, in the green for just over 2% over 24 hours. Several top ten altcoins are seeing some minor losses. Ethereum and Litecoin, for example, are down over 2% trading at $184,92 and $85.42 respectively.

XRP is the biggest loser of the top 10, shedding 3.20% to $0.309 at the time of writing. Additionally, Cardano, the token leading yesterday’s rally, has since dropped 2.65% in the red now worth $0.069.

While most of the top 10 are down, Bitcoin Cash has kept its momentum going. At the time of writing, BCH is trading at $347.70, up 8.19% over the last 24 hours, becoming the market’s biggest gainer today.

The rest of the market is characterized by minor losses as well. Cosmos is down 8.55% while Bitcoin SV and Ontology slip over 2% to $57.22 and $1.15 respectively. NEXT is the markets overall loser, tanking 17.28% while TrueChain comes in at second with a loss of 14,51%.

Total market cap is at $209.4 billion.
