Request Network implements stablecoin DAI in dApps

MAKERDAO today announced plans to implement their decentralized stablecoin, DAI, into the dApps built on the Request Network. DAI will be one of the first five ERC20 tokens supported on the Request Network when they launch their mainnet later this month. 

One of the biggest inhibitors to the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies is the issue of price volatility. DAI is a decentralized stablecoin that allows users to send and receive funds without having to worry about the instability of the cryptocurrency market.

Request Network offers a wide-ranging platform to build financial dApps and promote the growth of a decentralized economy. By setting high standards for accounting and auditing in cryptocurrencies, Request Network hopes to improve the security and scalability of blockchain projects working in finance.
