David Schwartz joins Craig is Satoshi debate, criticizes Calvin Ayre

The debate regarding whether Craig Wright is Satoshi or not has been gaining momentum over the last few weeks. The community has arguably been against Wright, while Calvin Ayre has been one of Wright’s most vocal proponents. Now, Ripple CTO David Schwartz has weighed in.

While many high-profile crypto personalities like Bitcoin Cash’s Roger Ver and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao have publically criticized Craig Wright, David Schwartz has largely avoided the conversation. However, he decided to break his silence after Wright was ordered by the US District Court to provide evidence of six-year-old Bitcoin addresses.

Unsurprisingly, Calvin Ayre sided with Wright, tweeting:

Schwartz was having none of it, criticizing how Ayre twisted the judge’s words in favor of Wright:

It’s evident Schwartz had had enough, and many in the community felt the same way:

As Chepicap recently reported, Binance chief executive Changpeng Zhao has launched a Twitter poll asking the community if the Binance Charity Fund should raise money to help cover the legal fees of those being sued by Craig Wright. With 21 hours left on the clock, the poll has over 2,500 votes.
