Brave browser CEO says over 1,300 advertisers on waiting list

Brave Software's browser has been picking up momentum in recent weeks as crypto enthusiasts move over from popular choices such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. It appears the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency while surfing the web has picked up steam.

So much so that recently a user on twitter complained that he had not been able to get two companies added to the browser for advertising. Brave's CEO Brendan Eich took to twitter to comment on the complainants tweet, stating "We are not yet Google, so must waitlist advertisers as we bring up ad dashboard. Patience required, so far so good."

Eich was also asked how long the waitlist was and to many people's surprise, the CEO commented "1300"

It appears that while Brave browser may not yet be mainstream, it is certainly getting the attention of advertisers who are lining up to get onto the browsers ad network. Brave browser has grown in popularity thanks the the fact that users get rewarded with Braves native token, Basic Attention Token (BAT) when they view adverts while surfing the web.
