Bitcoin in the green, rest of the market slides

Bitcoin has had a decent 24 hours, gaining around 1 percent in value. The rest of the top cryptos have mostly seen losses, although they have not been significant.

Total market cap / BTC dominance: 

The total crypto market cap currently stands at $185.2 billion, down around $100 million from 24 hours ago. With most altcoins losing value, BTC dominance is up to an impressive 55.8 percent.

Bitcoin (BTC)

Bitcoin is currently up around 1 percent, trading at just below $5850 against USDT on Binance, and slightly less against USD on other leading exchanges (BTC on Bitfinex is still trading at premium, worth over $300 more than these prices). BTC came within a few dollars of the $6000 level on Binance at the start of this 24h period, the highest price it has seen since the middle of November 2018.

Top 10

Most of the top 10 is down, with Binance Coin (BNB) and Cardano (ADA) doing the worst in the last 24 hours, down 3.3% and 4.3%, respectively.
