SEC is hiring a crypto financial analyst, with annual salary up to $238,787

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is looking to hire a cryptocurrency financial analyst, and is willing to spend a compensation between $144,850 to $238,787 annually.

According to the job listing, the financial analyst in cryptocurrencies, will have to be one of the best and brightest, in order to join the SECs team.

'The Crypto Specialist provides expertise and coordinates TM activities regarding crypto and digital asset securities. Duties include coordination with Division staff to establish a comprehensive plan to address crypto and digital asset securities; engage with other Divisions and Offices on such matters; serve as the Division's point of contact for domestic and international regulators, market participants, and the public; provide expert level comment on policy and workstreams.'

The crypto analyst will have to take on a variety of responsibilities, including the development and maintaining of expert-level industry knowledge of crypto, apply knowledge of federal securities laws to digital asset securities and crypto matters, and serve as the Division's lead representative in the SEC's FinTech Working Group, just to name a few.

The compensation for the role of cryptocurrency financial analyst at the SEC is set between $144,850 and $238,787 annually, and will depend on the level of education and experience.

One of the many conditions of employment is that you must be a US Citizen.
