Brave Browser begins paying users in BAT for opting into ads

Today Crypto Globe is reporting that the increasingly popular Brave browser has begun to roll out a long awaited feature that allows users to begin earning Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) if they opt into advertisements.

The feature was already available on the developer version of the browser, but that version is less stable and generally for users who want to help test and debug the software. Now the feature is being rolled out in the Beta version, which most users enjoy.

Only users who choose to opt in will see advertisements and earn BAT. Some on reddit have noticed the feature only seems to be available in certain countries, like the US, UK and Canada. Apparently, the program has yet to see a worldwide release.

This is a good step forward for Brave and BAT, but will users actually flock to the platform? Stick with Chepicap for all updates!
