Elon Musk becomes CEO of Dogecoin and has already stepped down

Elon Musk has recently become and left his post as CEO of Dogecoin, that is according to the technology entrepreneurs twitter bio. 

Musk had previously tweeted that Dogecoin (DOGE) "might be my fav cryptocurrency. It's pretty cool" 

Dogecoin recently ran a voting poll on twitter, asking who should be the new CEO between Elon Musk, Litecoin founder Charlie Lee, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and Marshall Hayner, the CEO of Metal Pay. Musk won the voting with 54% of the total votes, and Following tweets from the community asking for Musk to be the new CEO, The Dogecoin twitter team responded, welcoming Musk as their new CEO

Musk has since tweeted about Dogecoin twice and updated his twitter bio to mention "Former CEO of Dogecoin". 

While all the news about Musk being the CEO or former CEO of Dogecoin is a good laugh and great for community engagement, the billionaire is clearly just having some fun with the community. It is also great to see such influential characters involved in the crypto space.
