Whale Watching: MXM dominates with suspected $65m Coinbene hack transfer

This week on whale watching, saw some strange moves within the top 5. Most notably are two obscure coins listed that in the top 5 that both had ties to a hack or suspicions of a hack.

Insight Chain (INB) and Maximine Coin (MXM) both made the top five this week with the only other top project on the list being Ethereum.

While it is hard to say where some of the transactions are coming from, INB was being traded on DragonEx exchange which announced that it had suffered a hack this week. This transaction is most likely the hackers moving a large sum of INB tokens.

Coinbene also had suspicions of a hack this week following large movements of tokens from their wallets. However, the exchange denied any such hack had occurred and reiterated that coins were all safe. Ironically MXM features twice on this list, and the #1 spot goes to a $65 million MXM transaction that was one of the key reasons analysts assumed that the exchange had been hacked.
