Binance Coin and Ravencoin are top earners as Bitcoin holds above $4,000

The market is characterized by mostly sideways movement today as Bitcoin still sits around the $4,000 mark. Several altcoins, however, are blazing ahead while others shed value.

Binance Coin is the biggest top 10 earner, surging almost 13% at the time of writing after Binance announced a new format for Binance Launchpad that should make it a more fair experience. The token is now trading at $17.13. Cardano, which was reporting gains of almost 10% yesterday, is now 3.14% in the green bringing the value of ADA to $0.062.

Ethereum, XRP and EOS are all down less than 1% to trade at $137.36, $0.309, and $3.65 respectively. the top 10’s biggest loser is Litecoin, dropping 1.25% to $60.17 while BTC remains steady at $4,024.31.

The top 20 show much the same performance as NEM climbs 1.81%. the only other earners are Monero, Dash and Maker with 0.47%, 0.78% and 0.06% respectively. Ontology is the top 20’s biggest loser as the coin dips 2.51%, now trading at $1.24.

Some of the smaller projects are showing nicer gains. Basic Attention Token, for example, is up over 8% at the time of writing. BAT is now trading at $0.218. Ravencoin is the market’s top earner today, surging over 20%. Chepicap reports that the erratic nature of the pump and the uniform rise indicates a pump and dump scheme. However, seeing as the dump hasn’t happened yet, it’s possible this is incorrect.
