Latest version of Brave Browser pays add rewards back to users in BAT

Brave, a free, open source browser developed by the same company which is behind the Basic Attention Token (BAT), is now paying back users for the add revenue they generate, according to their latest update.

The project had been in the works for quite some time, according to the previous partnerships of Brave with TAP Network and other advertising firms. Now Brave, which is essentially an add-blocking browser, will give users the option to opt into some adds in order to earn revenue from them.

The latest version of Brave, available on the Play Store, allows users to activate the Brave Rewards option, still on beta mode. All that users need to do is to enable the function, relaunch their browser and then they will be able to start earning revenue generated from the adds they consume, and even free BAT tokens in certain cases, according to reports from KoinAlert. The integration of BAT goes both ways, as users will also be able to reward content creators for their efforts.

Reddit did notice the latest function of the Brave browser, with mostly positive comments towards the implementation, although there were some complains as well:
