Coinbase is deleting accounts without warning, according to several users

Not even a whole month has passed since the #DeleteCoinbase gate, but the U.S.-headquartered exchange is again under crypto Twitter fire.

Craig Russell, Android developer involved with the developing of the duckduckgo app according to his Twitter bio, has been sharing during the last couple of days evidence regarding the shut-down of his Coinbase account:

An account shut-down is likely to happen for many different reasons, such as breaching terms of use, KYC issues and bugs. However, what appears to be a strange occurrence is that Russell was not given time to log in and withdraw his remaining balances.

After his complain, many users replied to the tweet mentioning that they had been through similar issues:

Although the reasons behind the account shut-down remain unclear, it does not appear reasonable to think that all of these users were engaged into breachings of the terms of use stipulated by Coinbase.
