Weekend market is slow and steady, BTC hasn't seen the expected breakthrough

The weekend market for crypto has been slow and steady. The expected breakthrough for Bitcoin hasn't yet to happen, though.

Overall

The crypto market on the weekend is slow and steady. Most coins on the top 100 are in green with very few exceptions, such as Litecoin (LTC), Binance Coin (BNB), Maker (MKR), and Electroneum (ETN). The total market capitalization as of writing time is $134,645,320,811.

Top 10

The top 10 is dominated by the green color, except for LTC that’s losing by 0.18% at $57.42 and BNB that’s down by -1.78% at $14.45. The biggest gainer is Stellar (XLM) that sees a 7.16% gain at $0.09 price point.

The number 1 crypto, Bitcoin (BTC) is gaining by 0.92%, however, it hasn’t yet broken the $4,000 resistance rice as it’s “still” at $3,949 price point. As previously reported by Chepicap, market analyst Jani Ziedins, the longer BTC struggles below $4,000, the lesser the chance of the next bull run.

Top 100 & Monero

The biggest gainer on the top 100 is THETA that sees a significant gain by 25.78% at $0.16, followed by QASH and Steem (STEEM) that gain by 16.81% and 16.27% at $0.14 and $0.51 respectively.

The biggest loser is Project Pai (PAI) that’s down by 11.40% at $0.05, followed by Digitex Futures (DGTX) that’s losing by 6.24% at $0.08 and HyperCash that’s down by 5.86% at $1.27 price point.

Monero (XMR) that just had a smooth and flawless hardfork just a couple of hours ago doesn't seem to experience a significant price changes, other than a 0.34% gain at $50.88 price point.
