Minor losses characterize the market as BTC stuck around the $3,850 mark

Most cryptocurrencies are showing minor losses today as Bitcoin hovers around $3,850 with several minor gains spread throughout the market.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin was down marginally, trading at $3,847.13 according to data on CoinMarketCap. XRP and Litecoin are showing similar losses down by 0.60% and 0.47%, respectively. XRP is now worth $0.312 while Litecoin’s valued at $48.62.

Etheream remaining fairly steady over the last 24 hours, trading at $133.46 while EOS shows a slight improvement of 1.57%. Stellar is today’s top ten winner, climbing by just under 4%, taking the 8th position back from Binance Coin. Stellar is trading at $0.877 while BNB trades at $11.56.

Among the top 20 currencies, NEM stands out as one of the few showing positive movement, rising by 1.7%. Ethereum Classic is the top 20 coin to see the most loss in value, declining by 2.15%, now valued at $8.81. Cardano, IOTA, Dash, NEO, and Zcash are all down by under 1%.

Some of the smaller projects are showing some nice growth. Verge is up by almost 11% at the time of writing, while Ravencoin and Aurora surge 9.72% and 8.94%, respectively.

Total market capitalization is currently at $129.8 billion, down from the $140 billion reported last week.
