Calvin Ayre: the entire Ethereum platform is based on a scam

According to Canadian entrepreneur and Bitcoin SV propagator, Calvin Ayre, Ethereum is a scam (as per Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) guidelines…)

Ayre took to Twitter to share an article authored by The Cointelegraph in which, the section chief of the bureau - Steven M. D’AntuonoFBI  - noted several key features of a “scam ICO”.

D’Antuono noted, that key strategies often included misrepresentation of ICO director’s professional credentials and experience, along with an unrealistic expectation of profit from the tokens.

“Like any investment product, rates of return can never be guaranteed and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” D’Antuono, was quoted as saying.

For Ayre this was apparently enough to warrant an attack on Ethereum, Tweeting:

“the entire Ethereum platform is based on a scam”

Thanks to the lack of clarification it's not entirely sure which exact points of the article the Bitcoin SV proponent was referring to.

Bad blood

This isn’t the first time Arye has lashed out at ETH, previously calling Ethereum founder, Vitalik Buterin, a “fraudster” after Buterin infamously called Bitcoin SV a “dumpster fire”:

Buterin seems to have a knack at garnering criticism. His most prolific and ongoing Twitter beef has been with TRON CEO, Justin sun. The two rival founders, hashed it out for the majority of last year, Sun perpetuating the beef with his incessant need to compare TRON to the Ethereum platform; to which Buterin, oftencouldn'tt help but retaliate.

Can’t we all just get along?
