Company that developed tallest building in the world now accepts BTC & ETH

The company behind Burj Khalifa now accepts digital currencies for payment. 

The property company that developed Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, Emaar Properties just announced a new way of payment to their agents.

The announcement said that their clients all over the world can pay them in Bitcoin and Ethereum for the properties they purchase from the Dubai-based company.

“We are pleased to announce now that all customers will be able to buy Emaar Properties using digital currencies (Bitcoin and Ethereum),” the announcement email stated.

Explaining the new payment method further, Emaar will use the service of a Swiss-based digital currencies broker, Bitcoin Suisse.

As one of the largest property companies in the world, Emaar Properties has over 29,800 residences in the UAE and over 17,500 units spread across the world that are currently under development.

In 2018 alone, the company handed over more than 51,800 residential units across the world and recorded around $7 billion in revenue, as reported by Micky.
