CZ on what's next for Binance: 4 future goals the CEO wants to work on

Binance is developing rapidly at the start of 2019, with the upcoming launch of the DEX, the work on the Binance Chain and the start of Launchpad, amongst many other features. So what's next for Binance? In the interview of Anthony Pompliano with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, CZ talkes about the other goals for Binance in the future.

Asked about what the bigger, larger picture for Binance is from the CEO's seat, CZ revealed four different aspects the exchange wants to focus on in the future. "There are a lot of different jurisdictions we don't cover, or there is no coverage by anybody", CZ said in the podcast 'Off the Chain'. "We want to cover those jurisdictions to help those people get into crypto, or get them into the blockchain ecosystem. I am always asking my team: do you research this country, this place? And give me a list of places where we should go next."

"Margin and futures will probably come"
CZ continues on trading features he wants to add to the Binance ecosystem: "We don't have margin, we don't have futures, so those things will probably come later."

"Have security token licenses, but don't know how to use them"
The Binance CEO also revealed the company is digging deeper into security tokens, and even obtained licenses already. "Security tokens - there are a few experiments by projects. We want to see how that market shakes up. We have licenses in a number of jurisdictions for that already, but honestly we don't know how to use those licences, basically we don't know what we can or cannot do."

"Given Binance's impact, we actually want smaller exchanges to try it first. Because with Binance, if we try something bad, or something that steps on somebody elses toe, the impact will be large, and the reaction will be large as well, so we kind of want to avoid that."

"Fiat exchanges are less important"
CZ says that other than that, Binance has enough work on their plate for now. "We don't have to cover everything. We want to be the infrastructure player for a few things out of many, and we want to do it well. For exchanges, definitely our core business. Decentralized exchanges, if that industry takes off we want to be there. Fiat exchanges, less important but right now it's important just for the transition period. That's our view."
