Apple lists Tron pricing on Stock app

Apple's standard Stock app, which comes installed on every Apple device, has included Tron's price as of today.

According to Justin Sun, the CEO of Tron, Apple has officially added the TRX-USD to the app, opening the door for more than 1 billion users of Apple devices to keep up with the price of Tron's token, TRX. Although the news does nothing for the development of the project itself, it is sure to bring a lot of attention to the project just by the sheer number of Apple users.

The news comes as a surprise at an exciting time for Tron enthusiasts. Tron plans to release their highly anticipated Virtual Machine that will allow dApps to function without problems on Tron’s upcoming mainnet. The project also plans to do a token swap on May 31st, hopping off the Ethereum blockchain to become independent. Major exchanges, such as Binance and Bittrex, are known to be supporting this event.

Currently, Tron ranks 9th in terms of market capitalization. Although the project has been the subject of several controversies, it has risen to become one of the most well-known projects in the market. Many eyes will be on the polarizing project in the coming weeks whether or not they support the project.
