Binance purges five more projects from exchange including WINGS and SALT

Binance have confirmed that they will be delisting a further five more projects from their exchange this month.

The announcement from Binance stated that "we periodically review each digital asset we list to ensure that it continues to meet the high level of standard we expect. When a coin or token no longer meets this standard, or the industry changes, we conduct a more in-depth review and potentially delist it. We believe this best protects all of our users."

Among the factors that Binance state they look at when potentially delisting a coin, include commitment of the team to the project as well as development activity to name a few.

Binance have since decided due to factors mentioned, that they will be removing the following coins from their exchange:

CloakCoin (CLOAK)
Modum (MOD)
Substratum (SUB)
Wings (WINGS)

The projects will be delisted on 22 February 2018 at 10:00 UTC.

Binance continues to remove projects that it feels are not going to develop their customers or are failing to deliver. This is not the first time Binance have purged projects in bulk, following similar mass delisting in October 2018 which saw several projects including the popular BCN being delisted, after only being listed a few months prior.
