MEW admitted that their focus was to ensure a friendly easy-to-use interface for both newcomers as well as experienced users. Also security is a top priority with the wallet, who admits they do not store any user data information or run and unnecessary ads on the website.
The latest update sees MEW upgrade to a less cluttered interface that works on any screen including a desktop, tablet or cellphone. The wallet upgrade still includes many of its core features such as checking your balance, swapping coins, and interacting with contracts.
New features include the ability to have balances load automatically, as well as notifications tool related to transactions.
MEW have also partnered with Changelly, who will operate with Bity and Kyber Network, to assist users in the balance swapping feature which will allow users to swap ERC20 tokens for other tokens directly on the wallet.
Congrats to @myetherwallet on the launch of their new interface! Kyber continues to support token swap functionality directly on the new MEW, providing millions of users the ability to convert 70+ tokens incl. MEW have also implemented a variety of other software upgrades to their wallet, making it a real competitor to remain the most used online ethereum wallet.
