CZ: Binance Chain testnet public testing set for 20 February

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has announced that the public testing for Binance Chain will be from the 20th February 2019.

In a recent tweet, CZ announced that Binance Chain will finally have a testnet date for the public. This will mean the public will be able to test Binance's decentralized exchange, Binance DEX.

CZ tweeted "Finally got a date. Targeting to release Binance Chain testnet (@Binance_DEX) for public testing on Feb 20th. This is a testnet, your feedback would be most valuable."

Binance DEX is set to be a promising decentralized exchange in an industry plagued with mostly mediocre exchanges currently. Currently Binance has been focusing on building their own blockchain for Binance Coin (BNB), which will be called Binance Chain.

Binance DEX will be used in conjunction with BNB, which will be used as gas for transactions on the exchange.

Plenty of good news surrounding Binance has seen Binance Coin climb to nearly $10 again, breaking back into the top 10.

The future looks promising with Binance DEX and BNB. More details regarding the testnet can be expected to be released later this week by the Binance team.
