ErisX, a recently announced cryptocurrency exchange platform, hires three new team members for their upcoming launch, set for later this year. Along with assembling a team full of top tier talent, ErisX also has the backing and support of Nasdaq and Fidelity Investments.
According to a press release through the Business Wire, they have added three new members to their ErisX team. The members included Robert Thrash, joining the company as COO, Arnold Connell, serving as Head of Infrastructure, and John Denza, offering his expertise as Business Development Executive.
Robert Thrash spoke on his thoughts of joining the team and what ErisX is setting to accomplish by assembling this dream team:
“ErisX has assembled an impressive team of experts to build the most robust, secure and regulated digital asset platform. Leveraging intermediary relationships and their diverse group of investors, ErisX will help both institutional and individual participants access these markets.”
ErisX carefully selected these individuals to make a team of industry heavyweights. Robert Thrash’s experience includes a 12 year career in the financial space, prime brokerage, execution service and trading. His last position in the industry was a Managing Director and Global Head of Futures Execution Service and Clearing Platform Management at Barclays Investment Bank.
Connell’s background differs from the financial intensive background that Thrash has, although his expertise is still essential to the operation of ErisX. Connell has made himself known from his various roles from his 9 years spent at the tech giant Google. He is credited as one of the original creators of YouTubeTV as well.
John Denza’s experience is more along the same lines as Thrash’s, coming from a financial technology background. Denza has previously worked as a Director at Pico Quantitative Trading. He has also spent 10 years working as a Director of U.S. Sales Equities and Derivatives at BATS Global Markets/CBOE.
