McAfee: Avoid porn sites and use privacy coins to keep government away

The Russian government funded media outlet dealt mostly with the political views and ambitions of the cybersecurity businessman turned into a cryptocurrency advocate:

McAfee started the interview recognizing that he sees himself with no possibilities in the presidential run that he is actually contesting. The currently on-the run interviewee delved deeper into his reasons for not really looking forward to becoming president, despite being on the presidential run for the 2020 U.S.A. election "Once you become a president, you are beholden to everyone. You are a puppet with a thousand strings". However, what McAfee wants is access to the national stage, in order to promote the ideas he stands for such as cryptocurrency and a widely understood libertarianism.

"How many American people speak Arab, or Farsi? We have no business doing this. We have turned outself into the world police, and we do not have to be policing other people". The often-used argument by the U.S.A. government of upholding human rights in order to justify interventions elsewhere in the world is neither valid for John McAfee. "Do we even know what human rights are in other countries? There are political, social, cultural or historical factions that we don’t understand. Our only input is whatever the CIA and the media, therefore the government, feed us".

Supporting human rights is still an important cause for McAfee, but he believes the struggle should be restricted to the more personal, closer space of each individual. “But somewhere else, I’m sorry sir, we do not have the right to judge”, he concluded his answer.

McAfee had a special batch of critics in store for mass U.S.A. media: “If you switch back and forth between CNN and FOX News, you will realize of the insanity of news. It’s like two different events, because of the personality and agendas of each media. Media just gives you disinformation".

The sometimes intentional confussion between opnion and information seems to be one of the greatest lackings that John McAfee sees in journalism: "Media report things as if they were truths, but then they add their own opinions on top and still try to sell it as truth. And (addressing the shows’ conductor) you guys shouldn’t be judging shit: you guys shoul be reporting facts."

It is absolutely possible to avoid the authorities’ digital surveillance, according to the currently evaded cybersecurity expert. “Avoid pornography sites” was one of McAfee’s recommendations, as he considers that is where spyware and malware tend to be hidden most often. “Use common sense, and you will be able to keep a clean phone. And even if the government is watching you, you can just use privacy coins".
