A recent analysis of Ethereum DApps suggests that adoption remains relatively low. On a given day, only 10 percent of Ethereum's decentralized applications see any usage, as reported by LongHash.
According to data taken from StateoftheDApps on February 1, there were ERC-20 token transactions on just 180 DApps in the 24-hour period. This was out of a total of 1812 Ethereum DApps.
Further analysis showed that adoption may be even worse than this data suggests. A study of 100 out of these 180 DApps showed that only 32 percent of them had more than 10,000 transactions. Just 13% of them had more than 100,000 transactions in the day, and the maximum number was around 200,000.
Falling numbers on Ethereum DApps could be reflective of a general lack of interest in the decentralized eco-system, or it could be that the DApps created so far haven't captured people's imagination. Basic dice games or other gambling-based platforms are still the dominant trend, although some based on the EOS or TRON networks are seeing much more usage than Ethereum DApps.
