Abra CEO confirms that purchasing stocks with XRP is coming

Recently Chepicap reported that popular trading app Abra is beginning to accept Bitcoin in exchange for purchasing stocks and ETFs, bringing traditional market exposure to users who never had any before. Now, Abra CEO Bill Barhydt has taken to twitter and confirmed that the app will, eventually, allow for XRP to be used for purchases as well.

It happened because Barhydt was outright asked about this possibility by twitter account XRP Nation. The CEO was direct in his affirmation of the prospect.

This seemed to please the XRP community, and is certainly an exciting step forward for both XRP and Abra.

It is unclear at this time if further cryptocurrencies will also be supported, but it seems plausible that if XRP is being explored, other popular assets will be as well. In the mean time stick with Chepicap for all XRP and Abra news!
