The coins will all be delisted by May 3 2019, with deposits being halted from Jan 29 18:00 UTC+8. Trading pairs will be closed from Feb 3 2019.

The eight projects being removed all rank within the top 400 based on market cap. While all the projects are currently listed on several exchanges and have decent sized trading volume, the removal from KuCoin could potentially hurt the projects in the long term.

KuCoin announced the launch of their 'Special Treatment' area for projects on the exchange that could end up in this final phase of potential delisting due to lack of activity from projects, not following of roadmaps, projects going through liquidation, and several other potential issues.

The delisting of the coins adds to the 10 projects that KuCoin delisted in December 2018 following the same 'Special Treatment Rule'
