Airdrop organized for traders who couldn't access BTT token sale

In a response to the many tweets where users were complaining that they weren't able to access the BTT token sale, Justin Sun asked 'CZ' if it would be possible to organize a free BTT airdrop for those who tried to place orders, but were unsuccessful in doing so.

The highly anticipated ICO for the new BitTorrent crypto token, BTT, has been completed.

Chepicap previously reported that the ICO succeeded in raising around $7 million in under 20 minutes.

The token sale was organized through Binance's new fundraising platform, Binance Launchpad, where investors were able to trade either Binance Coin or Tron for BTT, the new TRC-10 token that has been created for the BitTorrent eco-system as part of BitTorrent's partnership with Tron.

Unfortunately, due to the 'astronomical' demand, and some technical issue with the Binance Launchpad system, some users were unable to access the platform and took to Twitter to share their grievances.

As a reaction to the many complaints, Justin Sun reached out to Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, asking f it would be possible to organize a free BTT airdrop for those who tried to place orders, but weren't able to do so.

'CZ' was quick to respond by saying that Tron had agreed to organize a small airdrop in order to make up for the bottleneck issues and the overload experience for some users.

No details on the airdrop have been shared yet, but it did spark some positive comments on Twitter.
