Craig Wright takes aim at XRP calling it shit tech that's falsely marketed

In a recent tweet, Bitcoin SV supporter Craig Wright took aim at XRP stating that the currency is “the other name for retarded.”

As would be expected, the tweet attracted quite a lot of attention. Several Twitter users agreed with Wright while others felt he was just looking for a little attention. One Twitter user asked what about XRP that Wright finds so terrible, to which he replied: “It’s a sham system that adds little – a false promise, shit tech with marketing and hype.”

Another user asked Wright what part of XRP he has a problem with, and how Bitcoin SV is better in that respect. Wright replied by stating that “XRP isn't tech. But, not here to save fools.”

Others were less interested in Wright’s opinions, instead taking a defiant stance towards his comments.

As we've seen recently, throwing shade on XRP can be a dangerous thing. Crypto research firm Messari recently published a report that indicated XRP's market cap was grossly exaggerated. The family of Messari's founder began receiving threats from XRP Army soon thereafter.
