Leaked Samsung Galaxy S10 images reveal native cryptocurrency wallet

With the launch of Samsung’s latest flagship, the S10 just around the corner, rumors surrounding the expected features have been ramping up. However, leaked images hint that the tech giant may be taking their smartphones into the realm of cryptocurrencies, SamMobile reports.

In December last year, popular Android website SamMobile ran a story that claimed Samsung would be including a cold storage feature in its next generation of smartphones. At the time, the tech giant downplayed the news, stating it was “pure speculation.”

However, a number of recently leaked images suggest that it’s far more than speculation as it seems that Samsung has included a Blockchain KeyStore on the S10.

SamMobile reports that the wallet app is described as a “secure and convenient place for your cryptocurrency." Additionally, the app will reportedly allow users to import their existing crypto wallets on the device.

The images also show that Ethereum is listed as a supported currency, but it will have support for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash at launch

Among a slew of bearish sentiment stating that Bitcoin is going to zero, the addition of a cryptocurrency wallet in their new flagship should provide a boost to mainstream adoption and awareness.
