Binance blockchain charity foundation launches 'feed a child in Africa' initiative

Binance blockchain week has seen plenty of news and announcements coming out over the course of the show. One of the latest and most notable, is the launch of the latest initiative from the Binance Blockchain Charity Foundation. 

The latest project will be focusing on feeding children in Africa. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao announced the latest initiative to focus on feeding children in Africa by accepting donations in Binance Coin (BNB). 

The project looks to feed over one million children in Africa within 2019. CZ pledges to push growth and adoption of cryptocurrencies in Africa, while making use of Binance Blockchain Charity Foundation to assist those in need. 

The announcement was made at Binance Blockchain Week, with Global head of Business Development  at Cumberland, James Radecki agreeing to match any donations made from the crowd today. 

The donation of 1 BNB will feed one child in Africa for one month.
