CoinMarketCap to be part of blockchain movie The Last Thieves

A film which has blockchain and cryptocurrencies as a central part of its story will be including the leading website for cryptocurrency prices and market capitalization.

Produced by Gary Tseng from Film Mall, “The Last Thieves” is currently being filmed and will be in theaters in September 2019, according to the latest news shared in a tweet by CoinMarketCap:

Reactions from Twitter were rather out of topic or slightly negative:

The film will be released in conjunction with a crypto, the Self token, which will be aimed at creating an entertainment ecosystem. Movie-goers will receive SELF tokens that they can use for other purchases.

According to the director of the drama, they “are building a world around the film. The scenes that show up in the film are from real life locations that will accept the SELF digital asset for consumption”.
