Bitcoin back above $4000, How long will it last?; NEO up 10%

Bitcoin (BTC) has finally breached the long-awaited $4000 price point gaining 5% in less than an hour, how long it will last is anyone's guess…

BTC seems to be hanging in there with a sustained +4.52% gain in 24 hours, currently at $4033. Some speculation points to the maintenance of Bitfinex which is down for 7 hours today while the exchange migrates data over to a new dedicated server:

Meanwhile, the rest of the market seems to be benefiting alongside the #1:

Ethereum (ETH) is citing negligible losses on the 24-hour charts at -0.13%.

Giving chase to the #2 is XRP, up +2.38%.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is currently displaying no losses or gains whatsoever at 0.00% in 24 hours. However, BCH’s rival Bitcoin SV (BSV) is citing a -0.26% loss.

EOS, Stellar (XLM), Litecoin (LTC), and TRON (TRX) are all reporting varying respective gains of +2.36%, +6.03%, +0.14% and +1.37% on the 24-hour charts.

Outside of the top 10, altcoins appear to be riding Bitcoin's recent rise with very few losses and a quite a few gains Cardano (ADA) up +4.62%, IOTA (MIOTA) up +1.80%, Monero (XMR) at +3.74%, and Binance Coin (BNB) up +2.86%.

NEO blows most altcoins out of the water today with an impressive +10.15% gain in 24 hours.
