It's been a lot of up and down for crypto ever since the crash in November, and today was no different. Most coins saw a slip from their gains yesterday and Bitcoin once again was unable to get above $4K.
Coin Market Capitalization and Bitcoin Dominance
Currently the market cap stands at $130,464,735,244, down about $4 billion for the day. Bitcoin dominance is still down a bit at 51.3%.
Current price of Bitcoin: $3,829.41.
Of the top 10 coins all are currently in the red. Again the biggest losses came from Bitcoin Cash (BCH), down -5.87% to $162.28, EOS down -5.67% to $2.68 and Bitcoin SV (BSV) down -4.89% to $89.47.
Beyond the top 10 we still saw a lot of red. Worst off was KuCoin Shares (KCS) with a -9.3% drop to $0.588, and Status (SNT) slipping -9.13% to $0.017. All was not bleak however as Metaverse ETP (ETP) saw an impressive 19.27% rise up to $0.70, and Chainlink (LINK) not far behind, up 14.52% to $0.369.
As has been repeatedly observed, we seem to be in a bit of a consolidation channel since the crash. The market needs to get a solid push up to bring investor confidence back. When will that happen? Stick with Chepicap for all price action updates!
