Changpeng Zhao aka CZ the CEO of Binance, may have just let slip that the prominent exchange is about to enable a GBP to BTC pairing.
In a tweet earlier today the popular exchange CEO, replied to one of his follower's wishes of a GBP/BTC pair:
careful what you wish for. :)— CZ Binance (@cz_binance) January 3, 2019
To the untrained eye, this would seem innocuous, and certainly not enough to get excited about… but, CZ has been known to do this before. Its almost becoming his trademark. Just like how TRON CEO Justin Sun makes an announcement of an announcement just before he makes an announcement…
As recently reported, Binance finally gave in to the wishes of the XRP army and announced that the cryptocurrency would be added to the exchange as a base; something which was foreshadowed by the now famous words of CZ: “careful what you wish for”:
Careful what you wish for. :)— CZ Binance (@cz_binance) December 21, 2018
This is basically as good as CZ saying: “yeah, we’re adding a GBP/BTC pair, you’re welcome.”
Knowing of his knack of giving the people what they want, others took to the comment section to have their wishes granted by Mr Z:
waiting for XRP fiat pairing too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻— 🐼PandaRippleXRP🐼 (@RipplePandaXRP) January 3, 2019
XRP fiat pairing via VISA card - not just SEPA. That would be game changing and GAME OVER to @coinbase— Simon Schou (@Simon__Schou) January 3, 2019
I wish for @cz_binance to take @binance public so i can buy some stock/shares/securitytokens.— Ulf FatMan Josefsson (@JosefssonUlf) January 3, 2019
And world peace.
And a goodwill to everyone.
And a coffee. I need a coffee. A large one. No sugar, dash of milk.
GBP and EU pairs for ETH, BTC & XRP would make Binance just about perfect! ;) Just need to add $DGTX and you would be the holy gail of crypto lol— Crypto Jolie (@CryptoJolie) January 3, 2019
The man the legend the famous words.. Excited much— Will Bradley (@WillBra16772132) January 3, 2019
Only time will tell us whether these famous words will hold up… In the meantime be careful what you wish for.
