Top Brazilian exchange Foxbit co-founder passes away in car accident

Foxbit Co-founder Gustavo Schiavon has passed away in a car accident reports Crypto.bi.

The car accident reported happened in Sao Paulo after Schiavon lost control of his car in rainy weather. The co-founder's vehicle apparently hit a truck, reducing the car to half of its size. 

Schiavon's girlfriend was also in the car and survived the impact. However, she is in critical condition. The accident involved two vehicles and two trucks, with two fatalities in the accident. 

Foxbit is one of the top exchanges in Brazil. The exchange was launched in 2014 and quickly rose to prominence in the country as the top bitcoin exchange. 

Schiavon was 24 years old, and leaves the exchange to the three other founders, João Canhada, Marcos Henrique and Felipe Trovão.
