KuCoin delists 10 projects from Special Treatment Area

KuCoin have announced that they have delisted 10 projects from their exchange following them being added to the special treatment area.

KuCoin announced the addition of their special treatment area for projects that did not meet KuCoins specifications. The specifications include lack of activity from projects, not following of roadmaps, projects going through liquidation, and several other potential issues.

KuCoin announced that 10 projects that had fallen under the Special Treatment Area (ST) were being delisted.

The projects include:

Jibrel Network (JNT)
WePower (WPR)
Modum (MOD)
EthLend (LEND)
STK (STK)
Asch (XAS)
Bread (BRD)
BitClave (CAT)
Mobius (MOBI)
Bitcoin Gold (BTG)

The delisting of the projects was initiated on 24th December with withdrawals being available up until 21 March 2019.

The delisting of tokens is not just limited to KuCoin. Huobi recently announced that 32 projects are under threat of being removed due to low trading volume.

The bear market appears to have taken a toll on low cap projects that cannot seem to keep up with minimum trading volumes. If the market continues to decline and stagnate, the possibility of more projects being delisted is very likely.
