South Korean business school to offer MBA in cryptocurrency

It has been reported by bitcoin.com that the Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies, aka aSSIST, will be offering a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program that is focused on cryptocurrency.

The school is offering the program as a self described "master’s degree program in blockchain, cryptoeconomics and token economy courses from technological, cryptoeconomic and business strategic perspectives."

It is being claimed that this is the world's first MBA to be offered around cryptocurrency. The courses will focus on multiple cryptos, smart contracts, funding, Dapp creation, game theory, and whitepaper development.

The school is quoted in the article:

"The mission of Assist business school’s Crypto MBA program is to remedy the lack of academic research and systematic education currently available in the industry, despite a high level of social interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency."

This is truly an exciting development, and hopefully more schools will follow in their steps!
