Binance announces the first ever conference and SAFU hackathon in Singapore

Today has been filled with Binance news, and now, Cointelegraph is reporting that the company has announced Binance Blockchain Week in Singapore, which will consist of both the first ever Binance conference as well as a SAFU hackathon focusing on developing tools for securing cryptocurrency.

The events are planned for this coming January and should include some of the biggest names in crypto, though it has not yet been announced who will be speaking at the conference. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has gone on record saying they chose Singapore because it is the "finance and technology hub of Asia."

As for the SAFU (Secured Assets For Users) Hackathon, the event will last two days and will center around the development of new tools to prevent hacking and theft of users funds. Arguably, security is one of the biggest challenges facing the crypto community right now.

As the event gets closer more details on the events will likely emerge. As always stay right here with Chepicap for any and all updates!
