Goldman Sachs-backed cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex has announced the addition of six new trading pairs for Circle’s stablecoin USDC.
As part of the exchange’s commitment to innovation and their promise to supply customers with new ways of trading, the coin can now be traded against XRP, Monero (XMR), Staker (STR), Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and ZCash (ZEC). Additionally, trading the abovementioned pairs will carry no trading charges until November 30.
USDC was first added to the exchange on September 27 with Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT) and Ethereum (ETH) trading pairs.
Poloniex is the latest in a growing list of exchanges to list USDC. On Friday, Binance announced that it too was adding support for the stablecoin tradable against Bitcoin and Binance Coin. Prior to Binance’s announcement, KuCoin, OKEx and Liquid have also added support for the coin.
USDC is currently trading at $1.01, down almost 1% with a little over $6 in volume over the last 24 hours.
