Bitcoin Cash figurehead Roger Ver recently posted a new video on the Bitcoin.com official Youtube channel, discussing the recent disagreements over the upcoming BCH hardfork. He claims that he "may have been fooled" by fellow BCH contributor Craig S. Wright, who apparently "has no clue what he's talking about".
Due to go ahead on November 17, the Bitcoin Cash hardfork represents a major split in the BCH community. One implementation of the protocol is being developed by a group known as Bitcoin ABC, and is backed by Ver. The other is to be launched by 'Faketoshi' CSW's nChain company, and is referred to as the 'SV' (Satoshi's Vision).

Previously partners in the Bitcoin Cash project, Ver and Wright's relationship now seems to be growing increasingly hostile. In the video, Ver shows an email he apparently received from Wright, which calls the hardfork split a "war". He claims that Ver is his "enemy", and that he must "hate Bitcoin" if he sides with the ABC version.
After reading the email out loud, an emotional Ver calls Wright unprofessional and ill-informed, and goes off on a lengthy digression about the Y2K bug as well as showing some other contentious tweets from Wright and others about the BCH fork. Wright has also accused the ABC fork of wanting to use BCH to promote "kiddie porn" sites amongst other things.
If @jihanwu, @Rogerver & ABC devs want to make #Permissionless Kiddie porn sites and Silk Road Version2.0— Dr Craig S Wright (@ProfFaustus) November 8, 2018
They can piss off to #Dash
They are NOT adding this to #BCH
This is the ONLY real use case they have and it is not happening!
Some observers on Twitter are now finding themselves more sympathetic towards Ver. However, others are pointing out the hypocrisy of his reaction, after a year of adopting a similarly hostile attitude towards the Bitcoin community. In general, people seem to be condemning both sides for bringing this level of toxicity into the crypto space.
Is it just me, or does Roger seem like a more decent human being after the split from Craig?— Method five (@Malaka4000) November 8, 2018
Could getting Roger Ver back to Bitcoin be a good thing? Just a thought.— mrb (@BorgerMat) November 8, 2018
Ver started to say "If they want to go their own way, don't sabotage them"... then realized... that's EXACTLY what he's been doing for the past year. Poor fella.— Lightning Master Hub ⚡ [BTC LTC] (@LN_Master_Hub) November 8, 2018
