Whale cautiously sends 1 ether before sending another 230,000...

227,928 Ether (ETH) amounting to $48,017,233 (USD) has been shifted from one wallet to another but not before the cautious whale tested the address with 1 ETH…

We’ve all been there, you’re moving a relatively large amount (maybe not 227,928 ETH, but still) and you want to be absolutely certain you’ve copied the right address and that everything goes smoothly before you send…

One whale did just this, proving he/she is human too.

While this kind of movement can cause equal levels of concern, they are also the kinds of transactions that stand to prove the capabilities of cryptocurrencies, specifically their ability to enable the movement of millions in mere minutes for a nominal amount of money.

As recently reported, 888,888 ETH was moved amounting to the shockingly large figure of $183 million (USD) for just 6 cents.  This is especially shocking when realizing that a transaction on this scale would cost something in the ballpark of $300,000 by wire transfer…
