Can you live a normal/happy life paying with Bitcoin only?

Bitcoin has more adopter today than it was years, even months ago. Would one live happily with 1 BTC today?

Around last year, 1 BTC can give you 900 Big Macs, according to Blockchain24. But, with the drastic price changes, also considering the number of businesses that accept the crypto these days, the question is, can one live normally (happily) today paying in Bitcoin only?

Basic needs: Food

In 2010, a man named Laszlo Hanyecz paid around 10,000 BTC to buy 2 Papa John pizza in Florida, which was about $30 worth of money.

With today’s rate, that amount of Bitcoin will make one a billionaire, with which they can buy as many food as they like.

The type of food also varies, from fastfood like Subway or pizza from Pizzaforcoins to healthier ones, like those from Whole Foods Market. All these sellers accept Bitcoin as payment.

Social needs: Drinks (or having fun)

Many pubs receive Bitcoin as payment these days, Pembury Tavern in London and The Old Fitzroy in Sydney, Australia are to name a few.

If having an expensive car is one of the ways to get socialized, Lambhorgini and McLaren also accept Bitcoin as a payment method.

All human’s inner-being needs: Love

The old famous saying “no money no honey” might be irrelevant in today’s context. With Bitcoin, one can get access to A-list members on online dating services like OkCupid and Badoo.

Adventure needs: Travel

Many travel providers now allow their users to pay in Bitcoin, such as Surf Air, Air Baltic, Peach Aviation, and TravelbyBit, which is backed by the biggest crypto exchange today, Binance.

Or something out-of-the-box, such as a trip to the space, is also doable as Virgin Galactic accepts Bitcoin for payment for their services.

It appears like one might be able to have a "normal" life using Bitcoin only, although it heavily depends on where they live. For example, even though you can set up all your travel plan using Bitcoin, the places you visit may not be aware of it, let alone accept it as a payment.
