Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki joins celebrity crypto project GCOX

Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki is the latest celebrity to join the Global Crypto Offering Exchange. She will be sponsoring her own crypto token as part of the GCOX project.

GCOX is designed to use the reputation of various celebrities in order to generate value, with a number of famous people already invested and intending to launch their own cryptos sometime soon. Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will be launching his Pac Coin through GCOX, and former England footballer Michael Owen has also invested in a crypto.

Wozniacki signed the deal with GCOX in Singapore. In an interview with Reuters, she said "To be the first female athlete to have her own token is really cool...I am looking forward to expanding that before other people start getting into it".

To get the various celebrity cryptos through GCOX, investors will first have to buy the platform's own ACM tokens. The sale of these was launched recently, and the company's plan is to raise $300-$600 million.
