The Crypto Invest Summit in Los Angeles is the leading conference and summit focused on sustainable investing in blockchain technologies. It invites accomplished industry leaders to speak about the quickly expanding cryptocurrency field and provides a space where investors, enthusiasts, and businessmen can gather to network and learn.
The next summit will held in Los Angeles from October 22nd to 24th. Approximately 4500 attendees are reportedly coming to see a lineup comprised of more than 150 speakers and 100 exhibitors.
Chepicap will join the conference as one of the media partners of the event. Here is a preview of what can be expected from the conference:
As mentioned, many speakers will be present at the conference but none are bigger than Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple. Wozniak is widely known to be involved in the cryptocurrency industry. In June, he shared that he believes that “the world ultimately will have a single currency”, Bitcoin. Most recently, he co-founded a blockchain company, EQUI global, aiming to transform the capital industry using blockchain technology.
He will speak about the past, present, and future of cryptocurrency on the 23rd. As Wozniak is recognized as a pioneer of technology through his work with Apple, people will undoubtedly be interested in what he has to say about the cryptocurrency industry, which many believe will lead to the next industrial revolution.
Tim Draper, the billionaire investor and cryptocurrency champion, is another big name in the conference. He is frequently makes headlines for his boldly optimistic predictions about the cryptocurrency industry. He predicted Bitcoin will reach $250,000 by 2022 and that the cryptocurrency industry will be an $80 trillion industry in 15 years.
Draper will be speaking about “smart cryptocurrency investing and why getting in early matters” on the last day. Unlike McAfee, he has yet to make a bet involving consumption of his own body part on TV, but it is likely he will make another audacious prediction about the market during the summit.
Larry Sanger is an American Internet project developer, most famously known as the co-founder of Wikipedia. He is now involved in cryptocurrency as the Chief Information Officer of Everipedia, a project aiming to build an online decentralized encyclopedia that token holders can contribute to and be rewarded. He will sit down for a fireside chat to reveal his thoughts about cryptocurrency at the summit.
Other notable speakers include Tim Draper, Kavita Gupta, Avi Ben-David, Scott Walker, Dan Morehead, Jeremy Gardner, Ran Neuner, Rodney Sampson, Adam Draper, Crystal Rose, James Glasscock, Josef Holm and Alon Goren.
Security tokens are tokens that are deemed to be a security and thus subject to federal securities and regulations. There has been a lot of drama regarding the classification of cryptocurrencies as securities because projects hope to avoid regulations that accompany the label, but it is thought that security tokens could have powerful use-cases if regulations are properly met.
SPICE Venture Capital founder Carlos Domingo succinctly summarizes the potential for security tokens:
“It’s inevitable that security tokens will transform equity just as bitcoin has transformed currency, because they afford the owner a direct, liquid economic interest and the expedited delivery of proceeds. Every type of ownership can be tokenized, which is a massive multi-trillion dollar addressable market.”
The Los Angeles summit will appropriately address this topic heavily. More than 7 talks are scheduled regarding security tokens during the main two days of the conference, with most of them discussing the potential “Security Token Tsunami” in the near future.

More than 200 healthcare related cryptocurrency whitepapers have been written, and established companies such as IBM and BlackBerry are already making their moves into blockchain healthcare.
Hence, about a dozen sessions will focus on healthcare on the blockchain. The talks will investigate the possibility of blockchain technology disrupting and redesigning the healthcare industry for its benefit.
